Dawn Cherie has a background as a professional actress for years in NYC, being a main contributor to several performing groups, such as 'Mad Women of the Woods' and 'Body Temple', as well as being featured in numerous commercials and voice-overs. She is a ritualist specializing in women's arts, dance and freeing sexuality and the body. For ten years she had studied and practiced the Five Rhythms of Gabriel Roth, as well as other modes of dance since her feet started moving on this planet.

Dawn has studied the path of love and sacred sexuality with David Deida, and had been an active student of his for 7 years. Together with her husband (Ohad  Ezrahi) Dawn has been teaching love, relationship and sexuality as a sacred path called "KabaLove"  for over 4 years, in Israel, Europe and the U.S.A.  In the path of KabaLove Dawn works privately with women and couples. Since she made Aliya nearly 3 years ago dawn has been leading workshops at many of the festivals in Israel such as Zorba, Shakti, Segol, Lev-Tahor and The Tantra Convention.

Ohad Ezrahi was born in 1965, and today is a father of three children. Ohad had entered into the Hasidic world when he was 18 years old, after spending most of his youth in the Negev desert of Israel, studying ecology and dedicating his time for Buddhism and meditation.

In the Yeshiva world he had learned Talmud, Halacha, Midrash, Hasidism and Kabalah. He was sent by the Belzer Rebbe, who is one of the most important Orthodox andhasidic leaders to learn Lurianic Kabala in the traditional Kabalist-Yeshiva "SHa'ar Hashamayim" (= "The Gate of Heaven"). At that time he was already giving classes of Torah for several years within the yeshiva world. Later on he became a Rabbi and a teacher of Kabalah and Hasidism in the most progressive and advanced institutes of the modern orthodox movement in Israel. Ohad was a close student of the Kabalist Rabbi Yitshak Ginzburg, he had edited some of Ginzburgs' books and served as a senior teacher in his organization. Together with his fellow students he was part of the pioneer group that had established the community of Bat-Ayin in 89, where he had lived with his family for 12 years, making his living mainly from computer graphics and animation, while taking courses in the Hebrew University in Jewish Philosophy, Kabalah, literature, comparative religions and general philosophy.

At the end of the 90's he had "graduated from orthodoxy", and became one of the leading figures of the renewal movement in Israel. His books and articles had provoked a bit of turmoil in the Orthodox world (where he was known as a teacher) when he called for connecting with other wisdom traditions of the world on an equal basis, for the revival of the feminine and for recognizing the sacredness of Eros in ancient Jewish thought. In spring Ohad was invited to be a scholar in residence in the Rockefeller fellowship "Science, Gender and the Sacred" at the University of Oregon in Eugene.

In the fall of 2000 he opened HAMAKOM as a new spiritual community, that is dedicated to the renewal of spirit in Judaism. Hamakom had its first Yeshiva-Ashram in the Judean desert, where thousands of people from Israel and from all over the world came to study, spend time in a spiritual community and take workshops.

Ohad had written several books and hundreds of articles (Hebrew), addressing all kind of issues from a fresh Kabalistic point of view. His book about the redemption of Lilith (the dark side of the feminine) in Lurianic Kabala was said to be "A masterpiece! A classic!"  by Rabbi Gershon Winkler (see here). Ohad developed also "The BresLove Cards" that are being used all over the world as a Hasidic-wisdom-based divination and inner work deck.

In 2005 Ohad decided to end the experiment of Hamakom and to open the School for Love in Kabala - Kabalove - with his wife - Dawn Cherie. This  website is dedicated to this unique work.
