Holy Sexual Pleasure

"I have heard once from a very modest man, that he had sorrow from the fact that it is imprinted in human nature that one would have carnal pleasure from having sex. And he would prefer it if there was no feeling of pleasure at all, so he would have sex only for the sake of his creator... and (in these days) I thought to myself that the meaning of sanctifying oneself while having sex is to sanctify ones thoughts, to take out of ones mind the intention to feel any carnal pleasure at all, and that one needs to feel sorry that the feeling of pleasure was imprinted in this act...

But after a while God had greeted me with divine grace, and had let me understand the true meaning of the sexual sanctification: It is precisely coming from that feeling of carnal pleasure, but it is a wonderful, deep and awesome secret."
